Therapeutic Interactions Counseling Services, PLLC is an agency that prides itself on the fact that we are people of the people, serving the people. Our therapeutic services are catered to the cultural experiences of individuals living in the Eastern North Carolina region.

The mission of Therapeutic Interactions Counseling Services, PLLC is to provide quality therapeutic services to the individuals and families in the surrounding communities. Each individual will be treated with dignity and respected as the experts of their personal stories.

Warren C. Moore, PhD, LCSW

"I am equal to my dreams"

Mr. Moore holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health from East Carolina University. He has over 20 years of experience working with children, families, and couples. He has worked in various settings, including the Department of Corrections, the Public School System, Higher Education, and as a coordinator for a successful conflict resolution program for families. In this role, he taught anger management and effective communication skills.

Mr. Moore has specialized training in working with children who have experienced trauma from physical and sexual abuse. As a United States Army Veteran, he also understands the importance of identifying and addressing issues related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Additionally, Mr. Moore has over 24 years of experience as an instructor and administrator at the community college level.​

Kenneth A. Joyner, MSW, LCSW

"He who angers you conquers you"

Mr. Joyner holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, also specializing in Mental Health issues.  He has over 17 years of experience providing direct care services to individuals with mental health and development disorders. Mr. Joyner has a passion and clinical interest in working with young men who have experienced significant trauma in their life. In the past, Kenneth has served as the Coordinator of the Minority Male Success Initiative Program at Pitt Community College, which is a Federal program on Community College Campuses across the state that helps minority males graduate from college. Mr. Joyner has extensive experience as an Outpatient Therapist focusing on anger management, behavioral and trauma-related issues.
